In 1991, OCI decided to seek ISO certification in an effort to improve the consistency of our process and our product quality. After extensive consideration and review, BSI (British Standard Institution) was chosen as our registrar. In January of 1995, we were issued our ISO 9002 certificate. We obtained our 9001 certification in 2008.

BSI returns to our site every six months to reassess our processes. OCI currently has 17 ISO Department Coordinators and 12 internal auditors. Each department is audited throughout the year.
