OCI has always had a strong presence in, and commitment to the communities where we work and live.

Philanthropically, we have traditionally been a strong donor to the United Way, Special Olympics, and other local charities. In 2006, employee and company donations to the United Way alone amounted to over $100,000, bolstering our reputation as having the best annual campaign kick-offs with record-setting results.

Each November and December, OCI participates in food, gift, and back-to-school drives — providing things like Thanksgiving dinners, educational necessities, and presents to brighten the holidays for local underprivileged families.

What’s more, you can see our commitment to corporate citizenship in our employees' involvement in community activities, from volunteer fire fighting, mine search and rescue missions, blood drives, serving on school boards and in local government. It's all part of being a good neighbor.
