Our Green River, Wyoming operation dates back to 1962, when the facility was established by Stauffer Chemical. While the name of the company has changed over the years, the quality of our product, our people, and services continues to set the industry pace. OCI was founded in 1996 as part of DC Chemical's acquisition of Rhone Poulenc's U.S. soda ash interests. Today, OCI Chemical Corporation is a wholly owned North American subsidiary of DC Chemical Co., Ltd of South Korea.

Headquartered in Marietta, GA, OCI Group has over 500 employees worldwide and we continue to grow.

We are the world's third largest producer of natural soda ash. We have offices in the U.S. and Europe, and a state-of-the-art production facility with an annual production capacity of 3.25 million tons. Our ongoing commitment to technological improvements, competitive pricing, and unparalleled customer support has uniquely positioned us to meet global demands for pure soda ash for decades to come.

We launched our U.S. sodium percarbonate business in 2001 with construction of a new production facility in Decatur, Alabama. This plant, along with our parent company's plants in Korea and China, puts OCI in a great position to service global sodium percarbonate needs.

OCI Chemical Company Ltd is a South Korea-based, integrated chemical products provider whose principal activities are the manufacture and distribution of basic chemicals, fine chemicals, and petrochemicals.

While the majority of its sales are generated in South Korea, DCC's reputation for high quality extends across several international priority markets. DCC is the second largest supplier of percarbonate, the second largest supplier of potassium carbonate, and the third largest supplier of natural soda ash in the world.

Through a series of restructuring efforts, DCC aligned its processes behind consolidating the leadership position it occupies in its existing businesses, while also expanding its business coverage into nonchemical industries such as consumer goods and services.
